Greg Wright did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Barbados Revenge from losing, 5-4, to the Tunica Diamonds at Clam Jammer Dome. Wright went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. The win was credited to Jay Vallance in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Ross Charest took the loss. The win puts the Diamonds at 19-20, while the Revenge drop to 20-19.

Had Alex Martinez not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Martinez hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Diamonds.
