Multi-HR Day for Melgoza as Bomberos Overpower Cyclones, 6-1

The El Paso Bomberos trumped the Brooklyn Cyclones, 6-1, at The Back Draft. El Paso second baseman Alexis Melgoza was named player of the game for his performance. He was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Larry Sceviour, who went 5.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with no runs on 1 hit, while walking 2 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 3-0. Danny Minor was called on to finish, recording his 2nd save.
Melgoza had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Bomberos went on to win.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Melgoza.
