The Caribbean Commies got a stellar performance from pitcher Bill Schindler, who handcuffed the Tunica offense en route to a 5-2 win at Castro Field. Schindler, now 5-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run. Earning his 13th save of the year was Matthew Gottlieb.

Simon April, who is tied for 7th in the PFL in hits with 46, chipped in for Caribbean with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the first. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
