Commies Rally to Eke Out Win
The Caribbean Commies topped the Tunica Diamonds by the score of 6-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Tom Miles. Miles was 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Commies on the day. Caribbean reliever Billy Boyd picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Jay Vallance took the loss. Caribbean now has a 3-game win streak.

Caribbean's win came gift-wrapped. With one out in the bottom of the 12th, with the game tied, Ruben Morales reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run.
