|
Las Cruces Javalinas starter Francisco Morales was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Barbados Revenge, 5-4. The save was Danny Jensen's, his 6th. Las Cruces, at 15-22, occupies last place in the Prince Fielder League John Mayberry Division.
Las Cruces used the timely hitting of Sam Cadieux to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Javalinas on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Cadieux.
