Yoshiaga Rin never let New England get something going. The Las Vegas left-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Aces to a 4-0 win. Rin, now 3-10, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 1 hit, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing no earned runs. Amaui Mahi'ai earned his 7th save in 10 chances.

The Aces got a big at-bat from designated hitter Doug White. For the game, White was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 15th home run of the season gave Las Vegas a 2-0 lead.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said White.

Even with the win, the Aces have a dismal 29-60 record.
