Huaracha Hits 2 home runs in Commies Win
The Caribbean Commies bested the Las Cruces Javalinas, 10-7, at Peccary Park. Victor Huaracha was named player of the game. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Caribbean reliever Alex Diaz picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Pedro Cerna took the loss. The Commies bumped their record to 21-12 with this latest triumph.

Caribbean needed the clutch hitting of Jon Dibling to notch the win. The right fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Commies on top, 8-5. For the game, Dibling had 1 home run and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Dibling said.
