Ogas Hits 2 home runs in Rangers Win
|
The Rockville Rangers bested the Brooklyn Cyclones, 6-2, at Brewbaker Memorial Stadium. Oscar Ogas was named player of the game. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Osamu Murakami picked up the win, improving his season record to 5-1. He struck out 4 in 5 innings. Getting the save was C.J. Harnack, his 9th.
The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth when Ogas hit a solo home run. It propelled the Rangers into the lead, 3-2.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Ogas said.
The third-place Cyclones have dropped 4 straight games.
