Victory Pushes Rangers Record to 17-15
|
Rockville Rangers starter Blake Orlando was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Brooklyn Cyclones, 4-2. C.J. Harnack earned the save for Rockville, his 8th of the year. The Rangers bumped their record to 17-15 with this latest triumph.
The Rangers got a big at-bat from designated hitter Rafael Santos. For the game, Santos was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Rockville a 3-2 lead.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Brooklyn skipper Alex Romero, "and it cost us."
