Victory Pushes Mustangs Record to 47-44
|
The Mile High Mustangs relied on the hitting of left fielder Dominic Wicksted to stop the Oklahoma City Prowlers, 11-6. For the game, Wicksted was 2-4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Mile High reliever Kenkichi Kodo picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-2. Millard Richardson was collared with the loss. The Mustangs bumped their record to 47-44 with this latest triumph.
Denzel Kemsley, who is tied for 7th in the TML in stolen bases with 31, chipped in for Mile High with a 2-run single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 4 runs batted in.
