Rangers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Bomberos
The Rockville Rangers took El Paso pitcher Paul Beloin's best shot and still were able to claim a win at The Back Draft. The final score had Rockville getting past the Bomberos, 4-2. Beloin went 5 innings and allowed 2 earned runs, striking out 2. Mike Muller got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. The save went to C.J. Harnack, his 6th this season.

Late-game drama came in the top of the tenth inning. With no one out and the bases empty, the batter, Yasuzo Doi, hit a double. It helped Rockville seize the win.

"I really like what we did out there today," Doi said after the game.

Rockville, now 15-14, holds third place in the Prince Fielder League Tony Fernandez Division.
