Commies Win in Glorious Fashion
Caribbean left-hander Diego Flores made an effective start against the Scottsdale Scorpions at Castro Field, leading his team to a 5-4 win. Caribbean is now 19-10, 3 games up in the Prince Fielder League John Mayberry Division.

The Commies got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Ivan Carreon. For the game, Carreon was 1-1. In the bottom of the tenth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 6th hit of the season gave Caribbean a 5-4 lead.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Caribbean manager Kojuro Ohayashi.
