The Augusta Rail Riders faced a tough opponent in Barbados pitcher Lance Crumpton, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Drunken Wench Stadium by a final score of 8-4. Crumpton went 5.2 innings and allowed no earned runs. Their 17-13 record puts the Rail Riders second in the Prince Fielder League John Mayberry Division.

The Rail Riders got a big at-bat from catcher Victor Angulo. For the game, Angulo was 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 3 runs. In the top of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 1st double of the season gave Augusta a 6-3 lead.
