Scorpions Raise Rally Flag, Beat Tunica, 5-4
The Scottsdale Scorpions topped the Tunica Diamonds, 5-4, in Prince Fielder League action at Scottsdale Stadium. The player of the game was Scottsdale left fielder Sergio Salazar. The winner was Scottsdale reliever Steve Higgins, now 3-0. The loser was Vic Horn. The Scorpions improved to 10-17.

Rob Bjorndahl was the walk-off hero for Scottsdale. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Scorpions pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We take it day by day here," said Bjorndahl, "and today was a good one for us."
