Tunica third baseman Chris Walker had a good game, even if his team did not. The Diamonds dropped a 12-11 decision to Augusta at Clam Jammer Dome. Walker went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. Augusta reliever Justin Gilmore picked up the win, bumping his record to 3-0. Arend Bakker was collared with the loss. The Rail Riders bumped their record to 15-10 with this latest triumph.

The Rail Riders got a big at-bat from left fielder Joel Moroney. For the game, Moroney was 1-4 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. In the top of the tenth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 3rd double of the season gave Augusta a 12-11 lead.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Moroney told the Augusta Times.
