The Rangers had to overcome a fine effort from Boca Raton pitcher Luis Salcido to grab a narrow 2-1 win at Scripps Field. Salcido went 9 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The Rangers bumped their record to 13-10 with this latest triumph.
The Rangers got a big at-bat from catcher Oscar Ogas. For the game, Ogas went 1-4 with a double. In the top of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 2nd double of the season gave Rockville a 2-1 lead.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Boca Raton manager Michael Barnett said following the tough loss.
