Commies Roll to 12-3 Win Over Cyclones
The Caribbean Commies downed the Brooklyn Cyclones, 12-3, at Castro Field. The Commies were led by Jon Dibling, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Bill Schindler picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-1. He struck out 6 in 5.2 innings. Alex Diaz picked up the save, his 1st.

The Commies picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"If we keep hitting the ball well, the wins will pile up," said Caribbean skipper Kojuro Ohayashi.

The Commies bumped their record to 14-8 with this latest triumph.
