|
Caribbean Commies starter Angelo Blas was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Brooklyn Cyclones, 6-3. The Commies have an impressive 13-8 record.
Had Victor Huaracha not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Huaracha hit a grand slam. That made the score 6-3, in favor of the Commies.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Blas told the Caribbean Observer.
