Despite a fine performance by right fielder Andrew Clark, the Boca Raton Fighting Iguanas suffered a 8-7 loss to the Long Beach KO. Clark slugged 2 home runs. Reliever Bill Teague picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Manny Lima took the loss. Curtis Wood picked up the save, his 1st.

Justin Olson, who is tied for 8th in the PFL in home runs with 6, chipped in for Long Beach with a solo home run in the top of the ninth. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.

"Like I've always said, I'm the straw that stirs the drink," Olson said (again).

The KO bumped their record to 14-8 with this latest triumph.
