The Scottsdale Scorpions trumped the El Paso Bomberos, 4-2, at Scottsdale Stadium. Scottsdale shortstop Danny Collado was named player of the game for his performance. He went 2-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs. Reliever Timmo Brown picked up the win. His record improves to 2-2. Mike Sapienza took the loss. Scottsdale is in 5th place in the Prince Fielder League Tony Fernandez Division with a record of 8-13.
Collado had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the sixth inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Scorpions went on to win.
