Brooklyn rode a decent outing from starter Mike Anderson to victory over the Scottsdale Scorpions at Scottsdale Stadium. The final score was 3-2. The Scorpions fall to 4-8 and continue their uneasy start to the 2034 season.

Brooklyn used the bat of Marcos Rodríguez to get the win. The first baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Cyclones ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Scottsdale manager Marcel Devaux.
