Cyclones Fall Short, 5-4, at Scottsdale
In a close game at Scottsdale Stadium, the Scottsdale Scorpions edged the Brooklyn Cyclones, 5-4. Scottsdale left fielder Jason Pinson earned the nod as player of the game. He was 1-1 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The Cyclones drop to 4-7 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2034 season.

The Scorpions got a big at-bat from catcher Manuel Llanes. For the game, Llanes went 2-4 with a double. In the bottom of the seventh, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 7th hit of the season gave Scottsdale a 4-3 lead.
