Long Beach and Tunica duked it out at Knockout Stadium by Brooklyn Decker and the KO came out victorious.

The Long Beach KO knocked off the Tunica Diamonds, 9-8, at Knockout Stadium by Brooklyn Decker. Jesus Vazquez, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Long Beach won. The first baseman went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Bill Teague picked up the save for Long Beach, his 3rd of the year.

Julio Barraza aided the Long Beach cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the catcher went 2 for 4 with 2 singles.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Long Beach manager Lorenzo Rodríguez.

Long Beach goes to 7-4 with the win.
