The Caribbean Commies downed the Barbados Revenge, 10-7, at Castro Field. The Commies were led by Victor Huaracha, who captured player of the game honors. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Caribbean, now 6-4, has gotten their season off to a good start.

Huaracha had a key at-bat for Caribbean early in the game. With a runner on 3rd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and gave Caribbean an early 2-0 lead.
