Pivotal Game 5 Goes to Host Racers, 6-2
Bowling Green right fielder Augustin Connors was the key at Top of the Hill today, being named player of the game as he powered the Racers to victory in a critical Game 5 of the Triple A League Championship. The Racers took the 6-2 win over the Fort Worth Cats to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Bowling Green grabbed control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, José Morín delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 2-1 in favor of the Racers.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Connors told reporters after the game.

The next game is set to be played Saturday, October 21st, 2034 in Dallas. Slated to start are Luis Rodríguez for the Bowling Green Racers and He-ping Wang for the the Fort Worth Cats.
