Cohen, Racers Wallop Cats in Game 3 of R1
The Bowling Green Racers have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Fort Worth Cats, winning 8-2 at Top of the Hill today. Racers third baseman Hervé Cohen was named player of the game after he went 4-4 with 2 home runs and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The win cuts the deficit facing the Racers to 2-1 in the best-of-7 Triple A League Championship.

Cohen delivered in the bottom of the second inning for Bowling Green. With the game tied and a runner on 2nd, the third baseman hit a 2-run home run to left.

"We'll savor this win," Cohen told the Bowling Green Daily, "then get ready for the next game."

The next game is scheduled for tomorrow at Top of the Hill in Bowling Green. Slated to start are He-ping Wang for the Fort Worth Cats and Alain Picard for the the Bowling Green Racers.
