Almost There: San Angelo On Cusp of R2 Triumph After 11-4 Win
Riding the 3-hit performance of designated hitter Jake Sandlin, the San Angelo Mustangs got a road win against the Atlantic City Kings, 11-4, in Game 4 of the Single A World Series today. Sandlin went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5 for the Mustangs, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 1.

Sandlin had an important at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the top of the fifth, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Mustangs went on to win.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Sandlin said after the game.

Game 5 is set to be played tomorrow in Atlantic City. The scheduled starters for the game are Dave McCrudden for the San Angelo Mustangs and Vinny Caballero for the the Atlantic City Kings.
