Zorros Handcuffs Armada, Mustangs Seize 2-0 Advantage in R1
The Mile High Mustangs got a strong performance from pitcher Alejandro Zorros, who stymied the visiting Quebec Armada en route to a 8-1 win in Game 2 of the Divisional Round today. The Armada could never get a bead on the left-handed Zorros, who threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball to earn player of the game honors. The Mustangs now hold a 2-0 in the best-of-7 series.

Dominic Wicksted chipped in for Mile High with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.

Wicksted told the Mile High News: "I was born for the big stage."

The next game is set to be played Tuesday, October 17th, 2034 in Quebec City. Slated to start are Jose Albertrani for Mile High and Yohann Bosler for Quebec.
