Raucous The Storm Center Crowd Propels Storm to 9-1 Victory; Series Tied at 1
The Wichita Storm topped the Normal Nutcrackers by the score of 9-1 and moved into a 1-1 tie in the League Championship Series today. The largest share of the credit went to player of the game and Wichita starter Dave McCrudden, who threw 9 innings of 5-hit ball in the win.

McCrudden pitched a complete game for Wichita. The left-hander was charged with 1 run on 5 hits. He struck out 7 during his 129-pitch performance.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," McCrudden said after the game.

Game 3 is scheduled for Friday in Normal. Slated to start are Tony de la Cruz for the Wichita Storm and Cesar Alvarez for the the Normal Nutcrackers.
