The Montreal Cardinals defeated the Pleasantville Panthers, 9-5 in Game 4 of the Little League World Series today. Earning player of the game honors was right fielder Branden Milio, who went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The win moves Montreal into a 2-2 tie with Pleasantville in the series.

J.D. Strong aided the Montreal cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder was 1 for 3 with 2 walks.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Strong said after the game.

The next game is scheduled for tomorrow at Stealth Ballpark. The scheduled starters for the game are Pat Hamilton for the Montreal Cardinals and Sean Harris for the the Pleasantville Panthers.
