Fighting Iguanas Lose to Scorpions in Walk Off
The Boca Raton Fighting Iguanas got a superb performance from third baseman Tekkan Murakami, but the Scottsdale Scorpions still won the game, 10-9. Murakami was named the player of the game despite the loss. He was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The winner was Scottsdale reliever Ray Toye, now 1-0. The loser was Gary Compton. The Scorpions, with just their 1st win in 4 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.
