Bomberos Bang Out 12-4 Win Versus Tunica
The El Paso Bomberos put the giddy home crowd in an even more jubilant mood after beating the Tunica Diamonds in the season opener at The Back Draft. First Baseman Mike Ray won player of the game plaudits for El Paso. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles.

The Bomberos got a big at-bat from center fielder Chris Ricard. For the game, Ricard went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 3rd hit of the season gave El Paso a 5-4 lead.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said El Paso manager Brian Moore.
