Loss to Rhinos Extends Portland Losing Streak
The Rubber City Rhinos picked up a win at Waterfront Park, knocking off the Portland Beavers, 5-1. Starting pitcher James Thompson played a key role in the triumph. Anupradana Agarkar notched his 11th save in 16 chances. This loss makes it 6 in a row for Portland.

Tekkan Tanaka aided the Rubber City cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman went 3 for 3 with 3 singles and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"If the personal accolades come, so be it," said Thompson. "I just want to win ballgames."
