Calderon 4-4, Leads Texans to Win
The Dallas Texans defeated the Seattle Sasquatch, 8-5, in Roberto Clemente League action at Sick's Stadium, with Dallas second baseman Juan Calderon named player of the game. The Texans bumped their record to 49-37 with this latest triumph.

Early in the game, Calderon had a 2-run home run for Dallas. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Texans on top, 4-2.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Dallas manager Anastasio Ojeda.
