Brian Fay had a good game, but he could not keep the College Park from falling, 12-8, to the Grand Island Islanders at Swamp Foxes Stadium. The College shortstop was 3-3 with 2 doubles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 in the loss. Grand Island reliever Denzel Greer picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Pat Edwards absorbed the loss. Grand Island has now won 3 straight, while the Park have lost 4 in a row.

Had Rich Cook not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Cook hit a 2-run single. That made the score 9-7, in favor of the Islanders.
