Chargers Lose 7-2 Decision to Tigers
The Tioga Central Tigers picked up a win at Alleycats Ballpark, knocking off the Topeka West Chargers, 7-2. Starting pitcher Juan Luna, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The Tigers bumped their record to 32-32 with this latest triumph.

Early in the game, third baseman Elijah Rice had a 2-run home run for Tioga Central. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Tigers on top, 2-0.

"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Rice told the Tioga Central Chronicle.
