The Downsview Mustangs defeated the Santa Clara Vampires, 5-1, in Pete Rose League action at Visigoths Stadium, with Downsview pitcher Dusty Vaughn named player of the game. Vaughn got the win, improving to 3-3. He allowed 8 hits and walked 3 over 8 innings. Vaughn allowed 1 earned run. Downsview is now 29-35, Santa Clara 28-36.
