Conditions were not ideal but San Marin and Jacksonville State were able to put their game in the books.

The San Marin Mustangs topped the Jacksonville State Jaguars by the score of 16-11, with the biggest share of the credit going to second baseman Tim Jeffrey. Jeffrey belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5 for the Mustangs on the day. San Marin reliever Iestyn Milward picked up the win, upping his record to 4-3. Paul Robinson absorbed the loss.

Jeffrey had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-1 fastball from Paul Robinson, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Mustangs a 14-11 lead. It was the 16th home run of the year for Jeffrey.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said San Marin manager Marcus Piscitelli.

San Marin has now won 4 games in a row.
