Wilde Helps Panthers Run Win Streak to 6
|
The Pleasantville Panthers bested the Grand Island Islanders, 7-5, at Ballpark of Morelia HS. Josh Wilde was named player of the game. He went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Jordan Rosales notched his 9th save in 11 chances. Pleasantville has now won 6 in a row.
Wilde had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the sixth inning, when he hit a sacrifice fly. The Panthers went on to win.
"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Pleasantville manager Bobby Lowenstein.
