College Park starter Mark Head was in fine form against the Riverside Poly at Apollos Ballpark, leading his team to a 4-0 win. The winning pitcher was Head, now 4-7. He tossed 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 3. The Park bumped their record to 34-28 with this latest triumph.

The Park got a big at-bat from catcher Jeremy Retherford. For the game, Retherford went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI. In the top of the second, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 24th hit of the season gave College a 2-0 lead.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Head said after the game.
