Panthers Get Road Win, 6-4
|
Fans who gathered at Attack Ballpark saw a good contest between the Pleasantville Panthers and Seminole Warhawks.
Getting a good performance from first baseman Adam Fisher, the Pleasantville Panthers defeated the Seminole Warhawks, 6-4. Fisher was 3-4 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Panthers. The winner was Bret Cook, who threw 118 pitches over 7.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 6 hits.
Fisher had a key at-bat for Pleasantville early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 2-run double. It was his 22nd double of the season and gave Pleasantville an early 2-0 lead.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Fisher.
The Panthers have now won 4 straight.
