Jeffrey Leads Mustangs to Win
Tim Jeffrey was instrumental in his team's 15-8 triumph over the Grand Island Islanders. The second baseman went 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 4 for the San Marin Mustangs. Rob Williams earned the win for San Marin. He lasted 5.1 innings, allowing 6 earned runs on 11 hits, while striking out 1. With the win, he raised his record to 3-2. The Mustangs bumped their record to 31-26 with this latest triumph.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the second, with the game tied, Jayden Bell was at the plate when San Marin scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Mustangs to go in front, 2-1.
