Cardinals Come Back Late to Clip Panthers
|
Kearny High starter David Mincer pitched effectively against the Pleasantville Panthers at Stealth Ballpark. The left-hander led his team to a 5-2 win. The Cardinals bumped their record to 29-27 with this latest triumph.
Franklin Rivera, who is tied for 10th in the HAL in extra base hits with 33, chipped in for Kearny High with a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
