The Lerna Lions stopped the Tenafly Tigers, 12-3, at Ballpark of Ecatepec HS. The Lions got a big game from Nick Gerke, who went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. The winner was Ray Lewis, who threw 122 pitches over 8 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 5 hits. The Lions now own a record of 24-28.
