The rain at Ballpark of León HS did not keep Tenafly and Downsview from finishing their game.

Tenafly designated hitter John Teague was instrumental in his team's 13-2 win over the Downsview Mustangs. Teague went 2-2 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Tigers. The Tigers now own a record of 24-27.

Jason Fischetti had a big run-scoring single for the Tigers in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Tenafly leading 3-2 and the bases loaded, he got a curveball from Pete Eastham and stroked the single to center. It was his 70th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Tigers ahead, 4-2.

"I really like what we did out there today," Fischetti said after the game.
