Multi-HR Day for Holman as Mustangs Overpower Tigers, 12-4
Mustangs third baseman Karl Holman put his stamp on his team's 12-4 win over the Tenafly Tigers. Holman went 3 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while scoring 4 times and driving in 4 for Downsview in the contest. Downsview reliever Andy Perry was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Kenny Behnke took the loss. Downsview currently is in last place in the Pete Rose League Alex Rodriguez Division at 22-27.

Peyton Miller aided the Downsview cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the third. For the game, the center fielder went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Holman told reporters after the game.
