Warhawks Come Back Late to Clip Titans
|
Pat Sobiech left his imprint on the 10-7 Seminole win against the Carl Albert Titans. Sobiech, who is tied for 9th in the HAL with a .380 batting average, was 3 for 5 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Seminole reliever Tyler Rittenhouse was credited with the win, to go to 1-1. Matthew Miller took the loss for Carl Albert. Picking up the save was Price Hudson, his 10th.
One important at-bat for Seminole came with two out in the top of the ninth inning. With the bases loaded, Sobiech hit a 2-run single, which contributed to the Warhawks win.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Sobiech said after the game.
Seminole has now won 4 games in a row.
