Bob Adams left his imprint on the 13-7 College win against the Kearny High Cardinals. Adams went 2-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5. College reliever Steve McLean was credited with the win, to go to 3-1. Martin Cosman took the loss for Kearny High. Picking up the save was Toshitaka Kai, his 1st.

Tom Schanowski aided the College cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the fifth. For the game, the center fielder went 1-4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said College skipper Mike Gauthier.

College is now 23-24.
