Oklahoma City Ace Wins TML Cy Young Award Tuesday, November 15th, 2033 The Oklahoma City Prowlers have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Ryan Goldberg, this year's Thurman Munson League Cy Young Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Goldberg compiled a 19-7 record in 31 starts, tallied 274 strikeouts in 230.1 innings and recorded a 2.93 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .212 batting average against him. James Jostle of the Mile High Mustangs finished second in voting, while Joey Steamer of the Cabo San Lucas Toreros finished third. |
