López's Treatment Not Going Well, Suffers Setback
Saturday, October 29th, 2033
The Hawaii Islanders received some bad news when the team's medical staff announced that Pablo López would miss even more time than had previously been expected. López, who is currently out with a ruptured finger tendon, was evaluated by doctors yesterday and tests showed that the injury was not healing as quickly as they expected. Instead, the 38-year-old right fielder will have to spend another 4 months in treatment.
Pablo López is expected to undergo surgery in Unknown tomorrow.
This year López is batting .232 with 42 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 23 times and has batted in 28 runs.
